Durch die innovative Smart Silence™ Technologie befindet sich der DUO 2 bei der Nutzung im Standby-Modus und startet sein Verwöhnprogramm erst bei Hautkontakt. So kann man das Gerät jederzeit zur Hand nehmen oder wieder weglegen, ohne Knöpfe bedienen zu müssen oder von Geräuschen gestört zu werden. Bei Inaktivität schaltet sich der DUO 2 nach 5-10 Minuten (je nach Akkustand) automatisch ab. Dies kann auch einfach überbrückt werden, indem z. B. auf eine der Intensitätsstufen gedrückt wird.
