This 36-pound carronade was built by the French based on the English carronade developed a century before. The screwed sight, the stronger breech & gun carriage running on a track, made the French carronade extremely efficient. The gun was placed on the decks of first & second rate vessels like the "Toulonnaise", "La Belle Poule" and the "Valmy". 

Kit features laser cut basswood and walnut parts for the base. Also includes a turned brass barrel plus life-like accessories, including cannon balls, wooden bucket.
